COVID-19 special edition
Viromics Playground is a special online edition of our Omics Playground platform dedicated to viral infection datasets. The platform was released in response to the current COVID-19 pandemic and is freely accessible.
More than 200 datasets from various viral infections
In it, we have precomputed and preloaded about 200 transcriptomics and proteomics datasets from various viral infections, including data from previous coronavirus infections such as SARS, MERS, as well as from the current SARS-CoV-2 virus.
Explore viral infection datasets
The platform provides the scientific community easy access to the datasets and to their analysis. Through this platform users can, for example, rapidly identify potential antiviral compounds by accessing drug profile databases and perform sophisticated analysis to identify hypothetical infection biomarkers, as we have demonstrated for MERS and SARS infections in a publication and a series of posts on our social channels.

We have given users free access to the preloaded datasets, limited analysis capability for their own datasets and have offered to upload and elaborate any novel coronavirus-related datasets they generate and wish to make publicly available free of charge.
