We ensure that all uploaded data remains secure. Your uploaded dataset stays within your account and is never shared externally unless you explicitly choose to share it with a colleague using the data-sharing functionality. All communication and data within BigOmics are protected with AES-256-bit encryption at rest and Transport Layer Security (TLS) encryption 1.2 or higher in transit. The data key is generated by AWS KMS and then encrypted by AWS KMS. Upon request, clients receive additional security layers tailored to their specific needs, such as SSO, dedicated servers, and others. The trial account does not have an expiration date. However, your session may time out after 1 hour of use or after a few minutes of inactivity. If that happens, simply log back in to continue using your account.
Trial account limitations include the number of datasets you can analyze, their size, and the number of comparisons you can make. You can upload up to four datasets, after which an upgrade is required to add more.
